Circumcision is an ancient and simple procedure, it has been practiced for more than 4000 years. The actual surgical part takes 1-2 minutes only. It is virtually painless and bloodless and babies can take it well with proper preparations.
Getting an Appointment and preparations, When you call our office, you will be given an appointment and instructions on how to prepare the baby. Also visit our web page " Before Circumcision" and follow the instructions. Proper application of the numbing " EMLA" cream at home and the local anesthesia that is given by the doctor are keys for painless procedure.
When you are in the office, Dr. Mati will review pain control and post care procedures with you. you will be given written instructions and a follow up phone call by our staff on the same day to answer any question you may have.
